Print ExhibitThese professional images come from around the world and are largely from Professional Photographers of America’s prestigious International Print Competition. You will truly see the best of the best here! The 2009 exhibit will feature images from the 2008 PPA Loan and General Collections, including images from PPA’s Imaging Excellence Award recipients and Photographer of the Year winners. You can learn more about PPA’s International Print Competition by spending time with PPA Affiliated Jurors and receiving personal critiques of your images. Details will be coming soon. The International Print Exhibit is open to the public and free of charge (just register onsite for a free EXPO pass), and will be located in the Phoenix Convention Center. Exhibition Hours PPA Print Competition Mentor Program Mentor Booth Hours Due to the extreme popularity of these mentor sessions, a limited number of appointments will be available and must be scheduled in advance. Mentor sessions will take place in private consultation booths located in the Print Exhibit area. Contact PEC administrator, Jim Dingwell at jdingwell@ppa.com to reserve a time for your review. Judges Refresher Course This program is required for PPA Jurors and Jury Chairs to get information regarding competition rule changes, new digital trends and techniques related to competition entries. This program is open to all Imaging USA attendees at no extra cost to learn more about PPA judging and competition. Space is limited and priority seating will be given to PEC approved jurors. PPA Regional Print Chairs Meeting This meeting is for all PPA Regional Affiliate Print Chairmen. The session will offer insight into the current Regional and the International Competitions with regards to rules, entry forms, procedures etc. Also learn about the resources available through the Print Exhibitions Committee (PEC) and discuss the future of PPA competitions. |
